Dr. Jennifer Bray has been appointed as the new provost of health sciences and the Perry Health Sciences Campus. Empowering Students Through AI Initiatives
Wake Tech has been awarded a substantial $100,000 grant from the State Library of North Carolina. This funding will be used to develop a college-wide artificial intelligence learning initiative focused on fostering critical thinking skills among students. The initiative aims to integrate AI technologies into various academic programs, providing students with cutting-edge tools and resources to enhance their learning experiences.
National Recognition at SkillsUSA

At the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta, Wake Tech students achieved multiple top-five finishes. To further support student success, Wake Tech has opened new Care Center locations at the Beltline Education Center, Western Wake Campus, and Public Safety Education Campus.
