Best Buy taps TikTok Shop, unveils 10 fresh tech devices

In a strategic push to meet shoppers where they spend the most time, Best Buy is debuting a dedicated storefront on TikTok Shop. Starting in late October, the retailer will present almost 10,000 items—from premium audio to home-office essentials—directly within the TikTok app. Shoppers can click a product in a creator’s video, visit a brand-curated shop page, or browse a TikTok-only product tab, then complete the checkout without ever leaving the platform. Orders are fulfilled by Best Buy’s existing logistics network, and returns are handled either in-store or through a prepaid mail-in service, mirroring the convenience of traditional e-commerce.

Best Buy enters TikTok Shop for social commerce

Executive vice-president of e-commerce Jonathan Greer explains that the move recognises a shift from passive advertising to creator-led discovery. Influencers can now embed shoppable videos that instantly link to product pages, giving followers a frictionless path from inspiration to purchase. The platform also unlocks a new revenue stream for the Best Buy Creator program allowing creators to earn affiliate commissions while showcasing their expertise with the latest gadgets. Brands partnering with Best Buy can weave creator content into paid campaigns, tie it back to first-party data, and measure which personalities drive the most sales.

September 2026 gadget roundup

Alongside the TikTok launch, Best Buy has refreshed its inventory with ten standout devices that arrive in September. The selection spans wearables, gaming, audio, photography, and personal care, giving early-holiday shoppers a reason to explore the new storefront.

Wearables: Oura Ring 5

The Oura Ring 5 returns with a slimmer profile, an eight-day battery life, and an updated health dashboard that tracks sleep, activity, and recovery. Priced from $399, the ring requires a separate Oura Membership ($5.99/month or $69.99/year) for full analytics. Reviewers praise its comfort and the depth of its sleep insights, positioning it as the premier smart ring for wellness-focused consumers.

Gaming: MSI Claw 8 EX AI+

MSI’s handheld PC, the Claw 8 EX AI+ offers a desktop-class experience in a portable chassis. Powered by an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, 12 Xe-Cores, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD, the device can run current AAA titles at max settings on its 8-inch 120 Hz screen. At $1,799.99, it targets the premium segment of mobile gamers and promises roughly three hours of intensive play before recharging.

Audio: Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless

For audiophiles, the Momentum 5 Wireless headphones deliver balanced sound, active noise-cancellation, and a user-replaceable battery that lasts up to 57 hours. At $399.99 they compete directly with high-end Bose models, offering Bluetooth, USB-C, and a 3.5 mm jack for versatile connectivity.

Photography: Polaroid Go Gen 3

The newest instant camera, the Polaroid Go Gen 3 claims the title of the smallest on the market (3.3 × 2.4 × 4.1 in). Priced at $89.99, it adds a brighter viewfinder and sharper lens to the familiar retro experience, using Polaroid Go film (16 shots for $21.99).

Other highlights

Additional September releases include budget-friendly Nothing Ear (3a) earbuds with active noise-cancellation, a sleek electric toothbrush featuring an on-board camera for real-time plaque detection, and a range of smart home hubs from Dyson and Microsoft that integrate with existing ecosystems.

Stock momentum outpaces the Dow

While the retailer expands its digital footprint, its financial metrics are also turning heads. Best Buy’s share price has risen 24.3 % over the last three months, comfortably beating the modest uplift of the Dow Jones Industrial Average in the same period. Year-to-date, the stock is up 38.7 %, compared with a 7.5 % gain for the Dow. The company attributes the rally to a rebound in comparable sales across computing, mobile, and gaming categories, as well as growth in higher-margin segments such as its marketplace, advertising services, and Geek Squad repairs.

Analysts remain cautiously optimistic, maintaining a consensus “Hold” rating and a mean price target of $87.10—still above the current trading level. Nevertheless, the combination of a fresh TikTok Shop channel, a compelling September product slate, and solid earnings momentum positions Best Buy as a tech retailer to watch heading into the holiday rush.
