Advanced Technology and Connectivity
Step inside the GLA Electric, and you’ll find a cabin that’s a technological marvel. The floating MBUX Superscreen spans the entire dashboard, featuring a 10.25-inch driver display a 14-inch central infotainment screen and an optional 14-inch passenger display. The navigation system is powered by Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent allowing drivers to search for charging stations and view details such as charging speeds. The MBUX Virtual Assistant enhances the driving experience with its conversational services powered by Google Maps.
Performance and Charging Capabilities
The GLA Electric will be available in two models: the 268-hp 250+ and the all-wheel-drive 349-hp 350 4MATIC. Both models are powered by an 85 kWh battery providing a WLTP range of up to 408 miles. Thanks to its 800-volt technology the GLA Electric can add up to 267 miles of range in as little as 10 minutes with DC fast charging of up to 320 kW. This makes it one of the most efficient electric SUVs on the market.
Interior Comfort and Entertainment
The interior of the GLA Electric is designed for comfort and entertainment. The Superscreen allows passengers to access over 40 apps including games and premium streaming services like YouTube and Disney+. A new Burmester 3D surround sound system is available as an optional extra, enhancing the entertainment experience. The MBUX Virtual Assistant combines AI from Google and ChatGPT to provide natural conversation, recommend restaurants, and help plan journeys. The GLA Electric also features customizable ambient lighting and a huge panoramic glass roof, making the interior feel even more spacious.
