Role and Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for conducting and coordinating recruiting and selection activities. This includes screening applicants, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating, preparing, and extending offers, and guiding candidates through the pre-boarding and onboarding process.

Key responsibilities also include sourcing qualified candidates via databases, job boards, professional networks, and social media, as well as developing a pipeline of qualified talent. The role requires developing effective sourcing and recruiting plans while partnering with hiring managers during intake sessions and regular update sessions.

Compliance and Strategy

Ensuring recruiting practices are in compliance with state and federal regulations is crucial. The Talent Acquisition Partner will support the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals of the organization and use appropriate interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with clients.

Reviewing and recommending process improvements to ensure the recruiting process is efficient and proactively meets the needs of the business is another key aspect of the role. The partner will also assist in the development of annual Talent Acquisition plans and develop relationships with community organizations, professional associations, trade schools, and the broader business community to drive the candidate pipeline and employment brand.

Data and Consultation

Leveraging data to assess outcomes and influence ongoing recruitment strategies is essential. The Talent Acquisition Partner will participate in the execution of the organization’s diversity recruitment strategy and provide Talent Acquisition and hiring consultation to hiring managers.

Maintaining knowledge of industry workforce trends and how they impact the business, managing candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS), and reporting TA analytics to clients are also important responsibilities. Other duties as assigned will round out the role.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of recruiting experience. At least three years of recruiting experience is required, along with proficiency using MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills, are essential. The ideal candidate will exhibit good judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Workday experience is a plus.

Excellent group facilitation and presentation skills are also required. The Talent Acquisition Partner must demonstrate the ability to establish effective relationships with clients and review and recommend process improvements to ensure the recruiting process is efficient and meets the needs of the business.
